Biography:
- Dr. Willard, a pediatric neuropsychologist, graduated with her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Fielding Institute, Santa Barbara, California in 1991. She completed her internship and doctoral dissertation focused on neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute and Neuropsychology Associates in Phoenix, Arizona.
- After completing her doctoral degree, she then did post doctoral training at Sharp Rehabilitation Hospital in San Diego, where she also conducted research at the San Diego Veteran’s Hospital.
- Dr. Willard holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana, and the University of Michigan.
- Dr. Willard earned her board certification with the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology in January of 2000.
- Dr. Willard is licensed in both Arizona and Nevada.
- Dr. Willard sees patients from the ages of two through geriatrics. She has particular interest in the areas of attentional and learning disorders, Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, atypical developmental delays, seizures, traumatic brain injury, fetal alcohol syndrome, fetal polysubstance abuse, strokes, multiple sclerosis, and dementias.
- Dr. Willard evaluates patients in a private practice setting, and regularly is retained by attorneys in order to determine the existence and extent of neuropsychological impairment in forensic matters.
- Dr. Willard is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the American Psychological Association.
