Biography:
Lois Oberlander Condie, Ph.D., is a faculty member affiliated with Children’s Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School and Director of Psychology/Consulting Psychologist at the Doctor Franklin Perkins School. She has taught and supervised assessment training at both institutions. In the past, she was Associate Professor of Psychiatry at U-Mass Medical School and a research faculty member at the University of Virginia Law School. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, in their clinical and law/psychology programs.

Dr. Condie is board certified in neuropsychology with the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology, and dually board certified in clinical and forensic psychology with the American Board of Professional Psychology. Her current clinical neuropsychological work focuses on learning disabilities, brain and vascular malformations, cerebral palsy, agenesis/dysgenesis of the corpus callosum, genetic syndromes, autism, CHARGE, infantile seizures and hemispherectomies, Dandy Walker syndrome, intraventricular hemorrhage, and other brain conditions. Her research spans issues relevant to both neuropsychology and forensic psychology.

She also is a nationally recognized expert on evaluations of children and families involved with the care and protection system, child protection policies and regulations, children’s learning needs and associated policies and regulations, and ethics in psychological practice. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the American Academy of Clinical Psychology, and the American Academy of Forensic Psychology; and, she serves on national committees relevant to ethics and standards of practice, family law, and forensic psychology. She is the author of many journal articles and book chapters, and her most recently published book is entitled Parenting Evaluations for the Court. Her community service focuses on bringing choral and orchestral music to special populations.
