Biography:
- Yvon Toupin is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist. He earned a doctoral degree in Psychology/ Neuropsychology.
- He presently works at The Stan Cassidy Center for rehabilitation (506) 452-5659
- He has a private practice that covers Quebec, New-Brunswick and Colorado.
- He earned his board certification with the ABPdN in January of 2000. He has been recertified in 2005 by oral examination and work sample.
- Is fully licensed in Colorado, New-Brunswick and Quebec.
- Is listed as a health care provider in both: National Register of Health Service Provider in Psychology (USA) and the Canadian Register of Health Service Provider in Psychology ( Canada).
- Is a regular Member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology
- Is an associate professor for the University of Moncton, Campus of Shippagan.
- Is a Clinical Associate for the University of New-Brunswick.
- Has served on the Registration Committee of the New-Brunswick College of Psychologists. In November 2005, he received a mandate from the CPNB to look at the criteria to practice Neuropsychology in the Province of New Brunswick.
- Yvon Toupin sees children from the ages of 6 – 21, with particularly interest in learning disorders, atypical developmental delays, various brain disorders and traumatic brain injury.
- He is regularly retained and appointed in civil matters, assisting the court in determining the extent or existence of neurological and psychological impairment in forensic matters.
